Find Your Path Forward with Chrissy

I’m Christine “Chrissy” Grant, MSEd, MSW, LICSW a clinical director, clinician, educator, and lifelong learner with over 25 years of experience in human services and social work. I provide individual therapy, training and speaking for teams and organizations, and consulting services grounded in compassion, connection, and an understanding of the challenges people face.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe meaningful growth begins when people feel safe, heard, and valued. With training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), my clinical interests include trauma, relationships, attachment, and helping people navigate stress and life transitions.
I’m especially passionate about caring for the people who spend their days caring for others. Through training, speaking, and consultation, I support conversations about burnout, compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress, and creating workplaces where people can feel supported and stay connected to their purpose.
As I pursue my Doctor of Social Work (DSW), my research interests center on the well-being of helping professionals, particularly social workers and first responders who live and work in the same rural communities. I’m interested in how overlapping personal and professional roles, limited privacy, and the feeling of being “always on” affect boundaries, connection, and the ability to recharge.
Whether I’m working with an individual, supporting a team, or speaking to a room full of helpers, my goal is to make space for honest conversations, practical learning, and meaningful growth.
Supporting People. Strengthening Teams.
Support for individuals. Growth for teams. Care for the helpers.
Through individual therapy, engaging trainings and speaking, and thoughtful consultation, Chrissy helps people navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and support well-being. Her work brings a special focus to trauma, the demands of helping professions, and the unique experience of living and working in rural communities.
